# Get API Access

Self-serve and distributor paths to Titan API credentials.

Titan API access is available in two ways: self-serve through the Developers Portal, or through a distributor.

## Developers Portal

Sign in at [developer.titan.exchange](https://developer.titan.exchange/), create an API key, and call `portal.api.titan.exchange` over REST. The Sandbox plan is free; paid plans raise the rate limit and included credits.

## Through a distributor

Titan is available through the following distributors:

* [**Triton**](https://docs.triton.one/trading-apis/titan-swap-api) — Titan Swap API documentation on Triton
* [**QuickNode**](https://marketplace.quicknode.com/add-on/titan-swap) — Titan Swap add-on on the QuickNode Marketplace

Distributors issue a JWT and a base URL, and provide Titan Gateway (REST) and, for enterprise customers, Titan Direct (WebSocket streaming). Titan Direct is served at `/api/v1/ws` and Titan Gateway endpoints under `/api/v1/` on that base URL. Existing Triton or QuickNode customers can obtain access without contacting Titan.
